How To

Repairing A Drone's Damaged Motor

To repair a motor damaged, the first step is to identify which part is broken. To do this, remove the propeller and motor shaft. Then you should remove any wires attached to the motor and look at the inner workings of the motor itself. If you notice something amiss, you'll know what part of your motor to fix.

If there is no damage to the motor, then you don't have to worry too much however if the motor looks like one of these images below, then you'll need to replace some components before you can fly again.

Consider a motor that has become bent and won't turn. The motor must be bent again. You could use a vice grip or a pair of pliers to hold the motor while bending it back into shape. After you've completed the above, ensure that you inspect the motor for signs and wear.

Once everything is in order, attach the propeller to the motor shaft. Your drone is now ready for flight!
